Pauline is experienced in primary education, working in and with a variety of schools, local authorities, Academies and MATS for over 30 years. Pauline has spent 15 years in senior leadership roles including Deputy head, Headteacher and Executive headteacher. Pauline is passionate about outcomes for pupils as well as the improvement and development of schools. Pauline has played key roles in school improvement, meeting the aspirations of Ofsted, Local Authorities, families and pupils.
Pauline has specific experience and knowledge around SEND and SENCO management as well as review tools like aptGO. Pauline is qualified to carry out both send and safeguarding reviews and has supported both primary, secondary post sixteen and special needs schools in this area across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and South Yorkshire. She has developed staff and policies to meet the requirements of this important work including developing workable curricula for children with very complex needs. Pauline has extensive experience supporting schools, staff, and governing bodies. With experience of mentoring and coaching educators in all school environments.
Pauline has developed SENDCo networks, delivered whole school CPD and specific training for SENDCO’s, class teachers and learning support assistants. Pauline is passionate about continuing to develop the role of the SENDCO and upskill class teachers, school and MAT leaders through coaching and mentoring.
Pauline has spoken at a number of education conferences and contributed to special needs forums. Pauline is passionate about school improvement, safeguarding and improving outcomes for children with special needs and disabilities.
